About Chris
Chris is a Solicitor & the Managing Director and co-founder of Luscombe Gray. He is also retained as a Consultant by an international law firm.
An experienced litigator, Chris specialises in all aspects of property litigation and has developed an excellent reputation within the field.
Chris has worked in many fast-paced environments during his career, including regional, national and international law firms. Throughout this time, he has acted for a variety of commercial clients and private clients.
Chris regularly deals with landlord and tenant matters and real property disputes. His substantial experience enables him to identify key issues quickly, and provide direct commercial advice to his clients, enabling them to achieve their desired outcomes as cost effectively and as quickly as possible.

A large part of Chris’ career has been focused on estate management for PLC clients, particularly in:
The licensed and leisure sector (having acted for 7 major pub companies and breweries, including Greene King and Punch Taverns); and
The telecommunications sector (having acted for Telefonica UK (O2) and Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure Limited (CTIL)).
Both of these sectors are heavily regulated by complex statutory codes – the Pubs Code and the Electronic Communications Code. These codes have recently had a significant impact on the two sectors, making specialist legal advice an even greater imperative for businesses wishing to operate successfully in these fields. Chris has a comprehensive knowledge of both codes, allowing him to advise clients practically and strategically.
Chris is a member of the Property Litigation Association and has delivered a variety of seminars and training to RICS surveyors and professionals in the licensed, leisure, and telecommunications sectors. He also benefits from excellent relationships with leading barristers.
Chris is married, with two children, and lives in the Wetherby area. He has a keen interest in most, if not all, sports and enjoys foreign travel.
